  • @phuckles Gusseck wrote the original while playing tenor at SCV in the early 90's. Jon Weber played snare at SCV back then and brought it back to Okie State, then to Michigan State. Both of them have probably edited nearly every year since.

  • im sorry but osu's is not really as good as this 1

  • sorry man. I like the SCV version better. It sounds more like a "martian" mambo in the SCV version, whereas this one sounds like chaos

  • i made the mistake of watching the SCV onfield version from 04 first

for a college line, this is good, it's really good

but just doesn't compare to SCV

I have to agree with what others have been saying and say that the tenors are what's gunking up the works but it's not that terrible. Not that i can do any better I'm just a horn player with a good ear for drums.

btw someone brought up Bethune-Cookman? Yeah no thanks, this smokes them! Such an overrated group. anyway nice job Spartans!

  • this is a different version than SCV played in '04, did gusseck write his own? i must say i like it better but i'm just trying to figure out the lineage here

  • You can't "diss" other players until you can play that better than they can....

  • yeah, I was in drumline in hs with a couple ppl that play on state, and one of the guys made tenors. usually he plays clean with the rest of the line but I think i hafta agree with you on this one
