That is unfortunate for Romania...but wonderful for those young American women. Does she live in the U.S. now, or does she still live in Romania (or elsewhere, for that matter)?
The sad thing is, the routine at the end of this segment is one of the better routines from the Romanians that I've seen. : ( Oh, Daniela Silivas, can't you teach these women how to work bars like you?
Kuznetsova was one of the top BB and UB workers in Russia. What are you talking about. She had release transitions before they became common-place (when mostly just the CHN and a few top gymnasts used them) and she was solid as a rock on BB, never fell in a major team competition (ever, IIRC). Russia using her was smart, because her consistency and ability to stay on the apparatus when it counted most was uncany, and very dependable. Please research a little more before commenting like that.
Wow, someone isulting Kuznetsova? She won the European champs on beam the next year and was solid as a rock, not to mention extremely innovative!

AMAZING bar routine from Sveta! I've never been a fan of hers because of her attitude, but I will admit that was some bar performance!

Produnova's arm waiving on beam almost gave me a headache. It's like she's a windmill.
