Here's a rendition of the ever-popular Hallelujah written by Leonard Cohen in 1984. I've always been so inspired and in awe of this song. It has a very simplistic nature on the surface, but its a very emotionally complex. Anyhow, I haven't done this in a while.. so be kind! Show the love. :)

Good for you, following your dreams & putting yourself out there. Nice tonality to your voice, but what I think draws us to his song is the level of emotional complexity you were speaking of. Cohen's voice wasn't technically pretty. It's the pain, the soul behind his voice that connects us to this song. What would add to your performance, I think is drawing from a place of pain in your own life, & letting your audience share in that. This is your story. Own it. Convince others you've lived it.

Sounds terrific. Not everyone can do this song. I can tell you put a lot of feeling into it. Good job! The song really touches me too.
