Welded the frame, put in a new battery and alternator, swapped the carb, getting ready for another ride... She's runnin' a bit better already.

  • it looks like your input spline on the driveshaft needs to be a touch longer, maybe at least a couple of inches 3maybe???? going into the back of the tranny. what do you think???? broke driveshafts are not fun!!! :(:( they can ruin your day:(:(:( hate to see that happen after all the hard work....

  • I've got a lot to worry about that is more important that that.. I might get to that and might not.. I think there's enough in the tranny to work, and when the suspension rises, she pushes in.. In a perfect world I'd re do it and I may yet, but not right away....

  • If your driveshaft did come loose, I'd Imagine it flopping around in there and possibly hurting you! You may want to consider a driveshaft hoop?

  • K. Will do..

  • The Hot Rod Company sells clear red 7mm spark plug wires (Solid core)I have them on the Rambler with my magneto they are old school and cool!!!!

  • Last time I used clear plug wires was about 1970. Are they good 'un's? The ones I had in high school weren't much.. Thanks.

  • i love that gerage, reminds me of the

    50s 60s and 70s rodders gerages

i cought the tail end of that era with the

80s and 90s nice to see it still alive !

  • Yea, they would look honkin' eh? Think I'll get me some. I've got a set on the Rambler and I love 'em... Great idea..

  • sweet! world of difference with the Holley.

When you do the tune up see what you can do with those god-awful spark plug wires, they're sooo long that they have way more resistance than they need and look ugly ;)

a nice set of blue or ACCEL yellow wires would look good :)
