On Mother & Child Mountain, in an era when Hyrule never flooded, Link comes across Glade, a young girl with a striking metallic sheen and a pointy head; someone he recognizes but doesn't believe he's ever met...

She is the Fairy Queen, and she believes she can help Link on his dire quest to enter the Dark World...

Glade, like other Great Fairies, has the ability to instill little magic fairies into weapons to bolster their powers, but she also reveals to Link that she has the power to ... herself enter Link's Master Sword ... as prophesied eons ago ... and become "The Mistress Sword"... a gloriously powerful yet fragile being that can protect Link from the threats of unknown might awaiting him.

"And so, I shall give new power to the SWORD that you wield... tee hee... ...... ME..."
