Can you use any type of tree (wood) to do this? Like if I go to the park and find some nice sticks will they work and not contaminate the tank?

@Superthecod those drills were a piece of junk... so I cannot expected too much from them...

@kevinhawj73 not such a thing exists... those plants were tied on the wood with a nylon fiber.

@PAtrIckDIGITALHD The tree was made with several pieces of wood, like a puzzle! You need to have patience and some hand job to get the best shape for it.

What kind of branches do you use? Just something you found in the forest? Is that ok for a tank? Gj on the aquarium dude..

@NOCTILUCASON Yes I collect them in a forest. Just use very dry pieces and wash them with careful, then you can use them. Don't use aromatic wood or with resins.
