複数のメトロノームを動く台の上に乗せてメトロノームを動かすと,やがて全てのメトロ­ノームが同期して同じタイミングで音を刻むことが知られています.

池口研究室では,メトロノームを乗せる台を左右から吊るすことで台が動くような実験装­置を作成し,同期実験を行いました.本動画では32個のメトロノームが同じタイミング­で音を刻みます.

    It's possible due to the table being suspended. With the table rocking to the weight, everything finds a common frequency through feedback/reverb.

    Hay muchas experiencias que muestran que el orden nace de forma espontanea . Probablemente la mas conocida sea la de las luciérnagas de Malasia que se congregan en millones, y emiten su luz al unísono. Tiene un buen libro (en inglés) del matemático Steven Strogatz -SYNC- sobre este tema (fácil de leer y sin ninguna formula)
