N459, Up pass 27.3.08

Some rain in the distance creates a faded rainbow and some dark storm clouds loom up behind the boom gates as N459 roars through Galvin/Bulban Road L/C with a pass from Warnambool and the SCT is sighted going into Manor Loop.

What country is this, sir? This is a great video, great rainbow. That was pretty! Also, the crossing signals are interesting. They look similar to ours, but the bells are different sounding. Nice work mate :)

Thanks for your comment. It was taken in Victoria, Australia. The crossing bells in Victoria are interesting, in most cases each one is different.

I noticed that the crossing activated as soon as the noise stop. The reason why the noise stop it's the crossing's box that shuts down. Also when the train approaches a magnetic on the track it cause the crossing to activate.

Nice vid there i love the sounds of the ol' Victorian ding bells. Shame they all seem to be getting replaced with those Safetran/General Signals electronic imports
