  • The truth has been spoken. Only the current batch of Republicans are RINO's. The current Democrats ares Socialists. We need both parties to flourish. Unfortunately California is the grips of both impostor parties. The Treasurer has given them the news lets see if they can snap out of it. Hopefully before the Golden State sinks into the mire of self-destruction.

  • He is right. There is absolutely nothing that can fix Cali. It is on the freight train to total collapse. All these govt. workers in California have these cadillac (sound familiar??) pension plans that the state cannot support. The legislature passes laws that drive hard working individuals and businesses out to greener pastures. Who is going to support the massive pension welfare state? Answer, nobody.

  • What we need is massive Tax Cuts to make it cheaper for Califorians to live and work here and we need the Legislature to help people that are struggling to make it and help people that are in poor neighborhoods. Not to be insulting to anyone but they like to help the rich people and why can't they help the middle class and lower class people? They don't and its sad. We need to Scrap the High Speed Rail project and use the money to improve our roads and Freeways that we so desperatly need.

  • @MattyTheMole Yes, there is a future. Right now there's a battle for the soul of the Republican party. We must return to our roots brought forth by Lincoln and Reagan. Lincoln knew that for our country to succeed that everyone must have the ability to thrive and purse their dreams. Reagan knew that national security would assure innovation and protect our sovereignty. Fiscal responsibility assures the right social and moral policies for the next generations. That's the fight, we will prevail.

  • @irisojects Lockyer gave the commencement speech at my under-grad, Loyola Marymount University a private catholic school, and he attacked some federal law president Bush signed denieing funding to abortion organizations lol.......yes at a catholic school! I think the United States and all its institutions are failing, now what? I'm supposed to be the future! There is a future for me right?

  • I'm glad they passed it too, erick. Let's see if it makes a difference. There's going to be an epic battle if they do make some serious changes. This state is a shining example of how NOT to run a state. If we can't recognize that now, and make radical changes, I don't know what it will take to wake people up.

  • klrdotorg, Californians passed prop 11 which was to have the legislature redistricted every 10 years by the people and NOT the legislators. I'm glad they passed it because I'm tired of the gridlock going on in Sacramento. And how they won't do anything because they know that they can get away from it because each district supports one party or the other where voters will vote for them anyways no matter how mad people are. So I'm glad they passed it.

  • wow! That's awesome!

  • Arnold is a RINO in the vein of Scozzafava

  • The only solution that I see - is redistricting. But being the idiots that we are, California voted it down. The Dem's & their masters - unions - spent millions & millions to spook the public. Sad.

Until these guys (& gals) don't feel confident in their automatic re-election, they won't change their behavior. We're doomed if we can't get these liberal fools out of power.
