  • One other thing I wanted to mention - I lived in an area with very high levels of calcium & magnesium in the H2O, which caused UT blockage in my male cat. So I switched to my local grocery store's filtered H2O, which was a tap for you to bring in empty jugs to refill. After about 5 mos., he was blocked again. That damaged his kidneys, & after much stress on his & my part, he died at the age of 4 in my livingroom. (And he was one great cat.) So, this is why I have so little faith in filters.

  • Wow, thanks for the detailed response. I dont know where you live, but I know certain areas of the world, and even the US dont have the best water, Filters do clean any tap water which might be slightly impure, but overall most places in the US (im in NY) have very clean tap water. If your water is really that bad, its up to you do decide what works for you. :)

  • You've never had my tap water. The high levels of fluoride make pits in people's teeth.

The water co. sends a notice around every year advising against its consumption by children with "erupting teeth" for that reason.

  • Thank you for commenting, in todays modern age we have filters, actually many filters believe it or not. If your tap water isnt as clean as NYC water I would suggest getting a filter for your tap, you will still save tons of money and help the environment. Thanks again!

  • This video inspired me to go buy some bottled water! And not the really big bottles. I am buying a WHOLE bunch of those little teeny tiny individual ones that couldn't quench the thirst of a kindergardener. I will buy a bottle for every comment left on this video! Thanks guys!

  • You are one sad sad guy. Well Intelligence isn't for everyone. :)

  • damn!!! awesome Mis-D Insane... How come you never showed me that skills live before Livan

  • I'm sorry if I was too (depressingly) detailed! :O I just wanted to give you a different angle, is all.

It's not that the water isn't/wasn't 'clean'. The high levels of calcium, magnesium, and fluoride actually are naturally present in the H2O.

The area with high calcium & magnesium was in an urban area in Ohio.

Currently, I live on the SC coast. I've heard that NC/SC areas have high fluoride levels.

I do agree, although, that buying bottled H2O for no good reason is stupid & wasteful.

  • whoa i didnt even kno that bottle water is actually tap water

  • Thanks very much. I've looked into filters, but am not sure which to purchase, so I buy gallons of spring H2O. Also, I am a renter, so am not planning on staying here forever. The filter systems for fluoride I've seen run from around $100-200, not counting the cost of the filter replacements. Plus, I'm not sure I trust whether one would (or could) actually filter out fluoride. It seems a big risk to take, being that I have a young child.

  • dude i dont ussually laugh at funny comments.

  • holy crap this vid was so awsm i will never drink bottled water again!O crap i almost dropped my laptop into my evening gasoline bath! That would have sucked i would have had to drive my Hummer all the way to the store and get a new one!
