バルナバス・フォン・ゲッティ楽団、名前は良く聴いたんですが演­奏はあまり記憶にありません。

こういう古いタンゴって懐かしい音ですね。熱いコーヒーが飲みた­くなります。

@jd03150 , TOMO Y OBLIGO (= I DRINK AND OBLIGE YOU TO DRINK )it is a traditional argentinian tango ( missing the great lyrics ), that´s why it sounds like that .

but von Geczy played it very well , it is a pleasure to listen

You are right. That's not the usual von Geczy sound - as you say, it has an Argentinean touch which makes the tango quite clear and sharp. Nice version! von Geczy is always a good choice when collecting and listening to 78rpm's!

This is somewhat unusual for von Geczy because it has a much more Argentinean sound than many of his tango efforts. It is superb. I have yet to find anything by von Geczy that I did not love.
