  • All fields of engineering, including computer and software engineering, dropped in demand in 2000. I borrowed money to complete my mechanical engineering degree and could not find any job at all, in spite of my 10 years of experience in auto design.

It is not true for anyone to say that a science, math, or engineering degree is in high demand in the United States. Don't go into math, science, and engineering field. You will end with a degree without a job and means to pay off your loans.

  • Been searching for a job for 2 years now... thank you for this.

  • engineering has the highest unemployment rate
