  • Which one can you smoke out of?

  • How hot does the kiln have to be to fire clay?

  • very informative, thank you

  • But he didn't say the names of the types of clay for each particular method, eg. what type of clay to use for hand building?

  • One of the first expert villages where the person actually is informative.

  • I just got my first potters wheel and im not exactly going to fire any pieces that i make just yet. I'm wondering first of all, which type of clay is best to start off with while im learning to throw? This has been my biggest issue so far because theres so many types of clay. I just wanna work on making vases, bowls and things of that nature. Any suggestions?

  • Wow, this guy really knows what hes talking about.

  • I just started doing pottery and your video was quite helpful. Thanks!
