This is a small resin art painting from my Cupcake Series recently sold to a collector. I just wanted to show what sort of finish you get. Please excuse poor videowork as I do not have a camcorder yet.

  • Is that resin on acrylic painting???!!!!

  • @HanaPainting yes it is :)

  • any art supply store should have it and now even Home Hardware. UV resistant resin is very expensive though and available at high end desinger paint stores and art supply stores. Polyester resin also works well and does not seem to yellow at all.

  • neat is a crazy word when using resin. You have to have a space allocated, organzie yourself with everything you need, and then there is a chance things will go smoothly. Resin has memory so it does not leak so easily. You can manipulate it to a certain extent to not go over the edges.
