"Sea Of Sorrow" Cover

This is Sea of Sorrow by Alice In Chains. I messed up quite a bit. But I only just learned this today :)

I started teaching myself how to play about 6 months ago and I have not a clue how to do a solo. You should keep the one you did in this video as your own solo for your own song should you write one. Just one question, What guitar do you play?

@qwertygaz110 really? you think I should do this solo in my own song? and to be honest, to do a solo is usually just improv. Learn a couple scales. Simple pentatonic scales. It works ANYWHERE on the fretboard. and it's the same progression anywhere.And in here I just kind of went nuts and did my own thing. I honestly think it sounds shitty, but maybe i should think differently cuz ppl keep saying they like it :P And I play a Hagstrom Ultralux XL-2. Mainly cuz that's my last name (Hagstrom)

This song is actually very simple. For the solo, just listen to the cd man. you had about 25 extra notes that werent even needed. Good cover mang.

Thanks for the input bro. I really appreciate it. I didn't give the solo much effort cuz I was kinda overwhelmed by it. Have you learned this song (with the solo)? you seem to know how to play it more than I do :P

Same. I'm self taught of about a year and a half now. I plan on uploading vids as soon as I'm able (in the midst of a move/build right now). I play mostly AIC, Soundgarden... and occasionally drop my tuning to A and play some Korn, heh.
