The 2011 Lexus CT 200h is more than just a Euro'ed-up Prius, but it's still a hypermiler, not a sport sedan. Inside Line's James Riswick has the details.

  • @TheLMMish Are you kidding me right now? For me, it is the exact opposite. The interior looks similar to a Prius while the exterior is just plain stunning! The hatchback shape with the beautiful LED's along with the nice rims make the exterior very nice. The price, the fuel economy, and being a Lexus make me consider having this as a first car.

  • 10.4 sec 0-60!? i dont like the feeling of getting smoked by grandmas with their camry, or even corollas....

  • why is now a days all about performance......its not a race car..........its a luxury "hybrid" car. Its job is to make you comfortable, get where you need to go, and most importantly save your gas.

  • man this guy sucks... i drove this after the crz and bmw s1 on the same road and was very happy with it. its got class style and its very fun to drive :D and its a good car in big citi.

  • I sold my VW Scirocco & got a CT200h. Didn't pick Audi. Didn't pick 1-series. Didn't pick C Class. Test drove a lot of cars. Now having driven my CT for a month (1400+ km). The cabin is quiet. My gas bill much cheaper. There is no looking back. Having driven a Golf Mk5 then Scirocco. VW is just not reliable. Now I understand why Prius are used as taxis in Japan ...

Reliable, comfortable, quiet, economical ... what more could you want?

    0-60 under 6s? how much r u paying?

  • The CT is a slick car and I like hatches. But Lexus pulled a Honda and put a hybrid system in a car that weighs too much and is supposed to be "sporty" (ala CR-Z). Fail IMO. They should have a regular gas engine and then an optional hybrid version but make this car more sporty not just a mild sporty. Its supposed to compete with the 1 Series and a like but doesn't come close IMO. But its selling.

  • @SuperMeatsause same here....this cars looks great and drives great

  • @TheLMMish Thanks. I have changed my mind about the interior. I don't know about the video though....

  • @SuperMeatsause Good luck with that! In that case I can't wait to see a walkaround video of your new Lexus :D

  • @TheLMMish I want to test drive this car and maybe it could be my first car. I'm just looking for a balance between fuel economy/performance and price/luxury. I was looking at a Honda Insight Hybrid but is a piece of shit. The BMW 1 series looks good but it is too expensive and although it is very very quick, the fuel economy sucks. The last two option are the Audi A3 and the Lexus CT200h which looks very nice in my opinion. I can't wait to test drive it.

  • @SuperMeatsause I'm not kidding you. I agree the interior layout is similar to the toyota prius. It's still a Toyota-based car nonetheless. It's a matter of taste kind Sir :) I like the 2012 Lexus GS, can't wait to go for a test.
