You couldn't be more correct This is a nightmare that I've had since I was about 11 yrs old.Funny,how I don't believe in "God" yet I feel there IS something.I feel it to be tooting my own horn,but ALL I have told over the years that I thought was going to go down? DID! No one who knows me will say otherwise.However, it matters not.This shit is meant to happen, (and I don't even believe in God, so to speak.)You can prepare though. The problem is that you will have a government no matter what, so hating Washington and shouting small government isn't going to get you anywhere. Currently you have a government elected by corporate money for the benefit of whoever can afford it. You don't own them.

You nailed it - that's where we're heading. Unfortunately, most people aren't intelligent enough to understand it. When it happens, people will be angry but they'll focus all their hatred at Obama and liberals instead of at Wall Street where it belongs. Wall Street caused this, as did both Republican and Democrat politicians taking money from lobbyists - the TARP bail out was a great investment for banks: millions of dollars spent on lobbying yielded billions of dollars in taxpayer bailouts.

it does seem odd that Buffet is buying up the railroads when there will be very few goods that will need transporting in a depression.
