Hello, folks, how have you been doing? Have you missed my English classes? So here I am back with a new class.
This time I'm going to try on something new with you.
I'm going to show you a text based on the song lyrics "Dust In The Wind", by Paula Fernandes -a brilliant Brazilian singer.
But there is a problem. Either line in each pair of sentences being sung by Paula Fernandes has INTENTIONALLY been scrambled (PUT OUT OF ORDER) by me.
THAT'S YOUR TASK! Your job is to try to UNSCRAMBLE these "scrambled" sentences so that the whole song comes to its correct version.
This activity aims at developing your listening ability, sentence structure sense and help you get used to original English songs being performed by non-native English speaking singers.
To make things easier, I have kept the inicial CAPITAL LETTERS and the punctuation marks of each and every sentence.
As a matter of "Key to the exercise", I'll be showing you the correct version subtitled video at the end of the class.
