This one is similar to video 2 above, with the addition of a view under the table.
Sean CLaNZeR, who is one of the most gifted replicators of the various magnet motor concepts that get floated around, has produced a few videos of his replication of the Hamel Spinner, a design that John Bedini expands and explains in the most recent installment of Tom Bearden's series: Energy from the Vacuum.
While the present version he demonstrates does not show acceleration from magnet power alone, it does show maintained rotation to the point that the rate of deceleration is far slower than would be manifest without some kind of rotation assist.

no practical purpose. you could never harness the energy produced.

a better bearing and I think it would keep going. (!)

looks like the magnet to the left of the gap is outta line. I bet some wd-40 would help it rotate a bit better. Great experiment!

put that thing in the eye of a rodin coil and generate a current!

The reason it stopped is because you are trying to violate the laws of thermodynamics.... Energy cannot be created or destroyed. Energy is lost in the form of heat (friction). I will say its pretty neat but not a way to generate unlimited power and any claims to such feat are entirely bogus.. Its a efficient machine but its never going to be 100% efficient nor will it ever exceed that please people get a clue..
