@philjit1 no rules really, and depends how you want to play it. If you want to play it just with a slide it can be as high as you like. If you want to play it without slide it needs to be lower. About 2mm at the 1st fret and 4mm at the 12th is quite a good balance if you want to be able to do both. I never know if I should go for trying to make one CBG that you can do it all on, or having lots so each one is set up the best for each thing!!
