I would like to know how to STREAM DivX movies without downloading.

Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. Downloaded Divx Plus Web Player only. Downloaded Perian for their updated codec to work with Quick Time. Downloaded VLC. Yet, I still can't watch the DivX movies on movie web pages. Why???
