Scientology Strikes Back

On September 13, two San Francisco Scientologists confronted their Anonymous detractors with a video camera, a list of questions, and a box full of DVD's titled "Anonymous Hate Crimes."

This action occurred simultaneously at protests around the world. This video contains some of the footage shot that day.

The question that remains unanswered: what is the actual purpose of the video shot by the Scientologists? Particularly since among the set of questions they asked was one with a potentially ominous intention: Where do you all go when you are done here? Do you hang out together?

I intend to discover their purpose as part of my investigation for a feature length documentary on Anonymous, scheduled for release this holiday season.

Scientology. Its the sort of thing that only people that either get sucked in easily or run away from their parents teachings and the real strain of life do. In the words of M Scott Peck "We are all mentally ill to a greater or lesser degree" he then goes on to say that it all depends on how honest someone is internally and externally. It would be quite colourful and comforting to think that I could just drop life with enough money to pay people to tell me what I want to hear.

Basically, Scientology is a pyramid scheme invented by a science fiction author. It's a cult with a lot of celebrity members, and it exists just to make money.

Anonymous is anyone online who uses a pseudonym. So, unless your real name is"Sombomombo", you are anonymous right now.

Scientology pissed off Anonymous, because it sues and censors (and has killed some) people in order to protect itself.
