  • a) this video (and OSIAB) is very much outdated, I should remove it. b) for java or mono applications micro instances are most likely not powerful enough. I didn't test it though.

  • FreeSwitch needs an awful lot of ports open to work: you need to open

    UDP 5060 5080 16384 - 32768

    TCP and UDP 64738,64739

  • what about micro instances? They are currently free for a year. Must I have 2 gigs of RAM?

  • Great tutorial!! Any ideas on how to setup the same but having all behind a router?? On a LAN or with a static IP directly to internet works fine, but I can't get FreeSWITCH to works when I put my standalone server behind a router. Thanks for the help!!
