Not a euphonium but a whoopee cushion. But seriously, not a bad rendition. The London Early Music Society put out a vinyl recording of this and a number of other Italian pieces from this era about 25 years ago. It is called La Mantovana and it is brilliantly done. I think it is also more authentic than this rendition as the vocalist performs in a style that is closer to the period technique. And a very difficult technique it is. Perhaps that's why we don't hear it here. Cheers!
