Guild Wars 2 Manifesto Trailer - Guild Wars 2 does it again with an awesome new 6 minute trailer! If this doesn't get you hyped for the it, I don't know what would!
"So if you love MMORPGs, you should check out Guild Wars 2. But if you hate traditional MMORPGs, then you should really check out Guild Wars 2. Because, like Guild Wars before it, GW2 doesn't fall into the traps of traditional MMORPGs. It doesn't suck your life away and force you onto a grinding treadmill; it doesn't make you spend hours preparing to have fun rather than just having fun; and of course, it doesn't have a monthly fee."
@Triskitout it's not a big deal for anet

What was that? It seemed like you said 'no monthly fees' but really quietly like it wasn't a big deal.

I'm somewhere in the middle, so I can resist your game's charm. *leaves*

@JbuckruM Actually any computer that could run GW1 will be able to play it on medium settings....and if you played GW1, then you know how much that game took to run (not a lot). It has to do with how they'r designing the game and whatnot.

to grind for to obtain = boredom.
Grinding = doing boring stuff to get to the fun stuff. and grinding to get something cool (like you said) is exactly the same. A-net changed that. why do I have to say that twice?
I don't think you understand what I'm saying here. Just because MMOs have been ruined DUE to grinding doesn't mean that gw2 will be the same...

all I'm saying is that they made it much different than other typical MMO's Notice I said typical. That's why they call this the "savior of MMO's"
Usually in a MMO, you get your quest, get your reward and go on to the next quest. That, right there, is nothing but boring. Why would you want that, no one does, unless you're an idiot.
They completely changed that. Dynamic events now. Go look up what that is.
