A Lancashire and Yorkshire Railtour to Goole on 29th October 1966, brought by 2-8-0 WD number 90076, and taken back to Manchester and Liverpool by Fowler Mogul 2-6-0 6P5F number 42942.
By comparing this with the March 1964 video on this channel, we can see that the white railway gates had been replaced with drop-down barriers between 1964 and 1966. The semaphore signals had also gone by this date.
Wow ! Excellent footage. Shame we can't hear anything aswell, it all looks so good.

The very first image will always be the fondest for me....used to be the last thing you saw leaving on the train(for Donny/Leeds?London wherever) , and bidding good riddance to, but after being dragged round your destination rather hastely by your parents you were only too happy to see it again and know you were fucking home and happy.
Yet to see the rest, or the other vids. My dad worked the rail through the 60/70/80's so it's fantastic to see ome of this stuff.
