  • This bike was definitely in the beta stages of emachines and I take in consideration the hilly landscape of where I live in how long the batteries lasted. In the city on more level terrain I would imagine a very long life per battery set. I was getting about a year and a half of daily use per battery set. I averaged about 1,000 km/per year as well.

  • Thanks Prisonson, I couldn't have said it better myself. For those who enjoy the open air, the smell of the road and seeing things at a slower pace (something we all should try now and then) this scooter is for you. I had fun. All that matters.

  • Weak. What is that? Like .5 HP?

Not that I am making fun, but I am curious why people want such poor acceleration.

  • mmmm maybe you don't get it. Speed is not the issue...it is a 'do-no-harm' kinda ride. What you loose in acceleration you gain in the silence. A smooth quiet ride in the country. No exhaust, no gas! Just humming along and listening to the birds. That said, I also have a gas scooter that zips along at about 75 kms if I want a loud bumpy ride in the country.

  • 30 or 40 kmh??

  • 30, 40 and sometimes around 60 on the flats.

  • Durability is what I question about these scooters, how long does the battery last over a period of time and how many miles have you put on it?

  • Not bad. I can understand having a nice quiet ride. As long as it has enough juice to get you to where you're going and back again.

  • Very nice buddy. I've got one aswell and it costs me £2105.95 which is $3445.25 and it goes 50 km/h and runs for 50 miles. What do you think about it?

  • Man, that's a long way to go for a coffee!

Pretty cool though. Haters gonna hate, but I like how torquey it seems to be off the line (even if it runs out of puff at 30mph), and how quiet it is even up to 50mph - or keeping pace with that noisy pickup! Certainly a lot quicker than even a good cyclist, or lower tuned 50cc gas scooters.

Boo at the people overtaking you on double centre lines whilst you're already busting through the 50km/h limit, too!

  • This is ace!!!!! I wish they were not so expensive in the UK, I would have one right now, well done!!!!!
