@DungeonsItalia I was referring to the fact that a good GM does have to put work into a good campaign that has depth. Especially in World Building and solid map building...that doesn't happen with casual effort. The number of functions gives a GM who wants to make a truly enriched experience for his players the ability to do so if he chooses. He can also just use a small handful of the tools and still make an effective map without it being "work".

I can't hear anything you're saying. If you're making a 50 minute long tutorial, start by investing in a better mic.

Would you mind perhaps linking a good framework for playing 3.5e D&D? I can't find anything through google, and rptools(.)net doesn't offer anything...

@DungeonsItalia You apparently have never been a DM (or a good one) or tried your hand at World Building for a campaign....

SPEAK UP
How do you get all those shiny red, green and blue buttons under "Selection"? All it says is "No Macros" for me :/
I also can't access the character sheet.
I'm also lacking Tokens, is there a place to download add-ons for MapTool?

@3lvewyn You need to first download the framework, then load that file, then you will have the buttons.

at 2:08 see how in the lower right window you have all of the green and red buttons? on my selection window, I only have the 4 buttons at the top. How do I get the green and red buttons, which I assume are macros?

@Ownage2themax3 Hi, those buttons are loaded from the framework. I am currently using the Rumble framework for my games. To use the framework you start by loading the file like you would a campaign file inside maptools, and then start making new maps. If you do this (and don't delete the macros in the base map) then you will have them available.
