They are just awesome, along with The Dixie Chicks, and countless other great bluegrass groups! However, the Dixie Chicks don't play "christian" songs, because none are professing christians--though I'll pray for them! In all sincerity, BobbyK :+)

@mattanaih what the hell you talking about? AKUS was on tour last year.

Lovin' it!

One of most enjoyable Bluegrass tunes I've heard. Is it possable to get bored of this tune or the movie? I think not.

@bekindunlimited Very kind words about a uniquely American form of music, but I must tell you that last year I had the privilege of seeing your Celtic Woman and was nothing short of speechless by the beauty of not just the music I heard but of these ladies both physically and obviously of spirit. Our cultures are so intermingled that it’s not even really worth saying we are different.

i love this kind of music. people may call it hillbilly or what have you because of the banjos, mandolins, and fiddles but i bet you anything they cant play it!

@kholden15 Except that this song is the featured song in the film, and the artists performing here also performed for the film, so why would you be "frustrated" that a video of a song used in a film, with musicians from the film would have people commenting about the film? Sounds to me like you just want to complain. Now if this were just some random bluegrass song by unrelated artists, then maybe you'd have a point.

This is the most awesome Bluegrass live performance ever. Dan Tyminski's vocals are perfect as are the performances of the rest of the members of Union Station. The lyrics are haunting as they were in the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou". Ralph and Carter Stanley made this song famous but Union Station perfected it and Dan is the modern voice of Bluegrass. Absolutely amazing!

This is the most awesome musical live performance that has ever been done. Dan is an incredible bluegrass voice and his performance here is perfect, as is the performance of the rest of the members of Union Station.

@intensive40 I hear that.
In a way, I love that "O brother where art thou" exposed the masses to the wonder of bluegrass music. In another way, I am frustrated because there is so much musicality here and yet the majority of the comments reference a movie.

just seen them in concert in Dublin Ireland ..to say they were good is a gross understatement....they were simply fantastic Alison is in a league totally of her own ..the band were incredibly good ..they are true to their Bluegrass roots ,true to themselves and a total credit to the United States of America...I attended this concert with my 12 yr old daughter ,and we are both still on a high ..cant praise this concert enough ..only to hope that they come back to these shores very very soon
