I completely agree that the PDC is a higher standard but i dont agree that adams wouldnt get passed the first round, i think like every other player that has joined he would up his game. I would see him being a fairly consistent quarter finalist in most tournaments maybe? I think hes a better player than the likes of Colin lloyd and Co Stompe. Right now i could see him destroying jelle klaasen as well.

@MMM8833 yeah but jelle klaassen is a person of moments he became world champion once but for the rest i think he is e pretty poor player for PDC standards

Governing body Darts South Africa (DSA) banned any qualification for the PDC worlds because of their affiliation to rival code BDO in the UK — so the players organised the behind-closed-doors event to keep their world title dreams alive.

@rufes1981 Adams beat lewis in the battle of the champions. 2 weeks later they played again and lewis won by 4 legs. If you put him in the Premier League he would finish in the bottom 4. Why doesn't he play in the Grand Slam of Darts as well?. He is scared of Taylor Barney Lewis

@rufes1981 Martin Adams would win a major in the PDC for certain, like you say he is a consitent heavy scorer and can grind it out.The PDC is obviously better known purely down to the way they promote the game.Adams to my mind would be the only player who could consitantly trouble Taylor and if he did beat Taylor i doubt very much he would be KOd in the next round ala Chisnall,Mardle,King etc etc Adams is a winner period

@rt7ify Getting hammered by lewis in one or two games dont really prove anything. Adams beat lewis this year in the battle of the champions. And he beat chsinell in this final, which was a very high quality final over 12 sets. Look what chisnell did to taylor yesterday as you say? Adams would do fine against all the players in the pdc, his a grinder and scores decent consistantly. His very simlar to john part. ..s played most players in the pdc when they was in the bdo, he would do ok

@rufes1981 in 2007 Adams played vs Lewis and got hammered ( its on YT type it in) Yesterday the man Adams is playing here Chizzy, destroyed Taylor. While the BDO as you say is good for darts, people saying adams would do well in the pdc havent got a clue what they are talking about,he would get mauled by the likes of Whitlock Anderson Wade etc
