Costa Blanca Storms Lightning Alfas Albir Floods Oct 2007

The worst storms in one hundred years hit the Costa Blanca in October 2007. Torrential rain fell for 24 hours. Thunderstorms and floods decimated towns the whole length of the coast from Alicante to Javea and beyond.

it is called "gota fria", ands it is used to occurs when summers ends,cold air come over spain and quickly condense because of the high temperature at level sea, in Mediterraneo sea.. it is like a shower...

i lived in playa sol in the centre of albir our house was flooded and when the video ends they did not see me standing in the middle of the river which was the road trying to stopthe traffic making tidal waves that ended up in my house can i say the vast majority were english in 4x4 s what can i say

I was on holiday that day, in spain and was supposed to fly home nearly didnt make it back to the hotell as it was up a hill,that was the craziest day of me life

I used to live there about 20 years ago and I remember the storms got pretty bad around that time. One year we got stranded in our house because a big piece the road first got flooded and then washed away.
