One of several new tracks I have been working on - you can tell that Pendulum and Apollo 440 served as some inspiration here!

The video footage was all filmed by me. Some was in my bedroom (sorry!) while the rest was filmed in Los Angeles last month. Needless to say I think it is an improvement over my last music video, 'Snowdrop'.

The music and this video are (C) 2011 to me.

  • @Vixxy8387 I don't know many Aussie bands, but I knew where Pendulum originates from and I was pleasantly surprised ^^. Thanks for the comment!

  • Good video. Really good song.

  • @DavidWho169 Thanks :) I've been working on some other tunes as well, but this one seemed to go with the footage I'd recorded in LA best ^^

  • Nice.

Your cartoon fox playing the synth would have been a fun alternative. Of course, it does take a lot longer to animate.

The song is highly repetitious, which I think is standard fare for house/dance style music. May I suggest a research project for taking the repetitious music to the next level - minimalism! You may want to listen to the music of Philip Glass and Steve Reich. The minimalism style has a repetitious base but weaves a melody onto it.

  • @vickimfox I had thought about doing an animated video of my stuff someday, but the time it would take to make would be significant - live action is easier =P. Maybe I will someday though!

Minimalism sounds like an interesting idea, and something I could probably pull off ^^. Daft Punk did a bit of that with mixed results, but when it works, it works! Thanks!
