  • Thank you James. (Paul's real first name, by the way :) ) I live in Raleigh, N.C., U.S.A., am 65, and just began the guitar about 6 months ago, after not playing for about 50 years. It is great (although at times frustrating, but a good kinda frustion :) ) theorpy for me both mentally, and physically. Your style of teaching, and playing have helped me more than you can imagine. Thank you so much again. Oh...and my last name is...McCartney. Michael. :) Take care mate. :))

  • Hi---I love your playing, it's great, but I have one question: Didn't the Beatles, John especially, play a half step down?? I think this song is a half step down I believe...I was playing this song in standard tuning to the Beatles song, and they were playing it lower!! Let me know, and Cheers! :) BTW...You're cute ;)

  • this tutorial nailed it for me....its been irking me for the longest that i didnt know it....now im getting the hang of it! thanks man!

  • Thank you for the clear and patient explanation.

So many tutorials try to impress you by playing it just like the original artist, but its waaay too fast. Real musicians slow down to let you see the finger transitions.

    Well done, sir.

  • @xanatos1231 This is true! :D)

  • @mpm111144 james is pauls son lol

  • @TboneWilson1978 Thank you again James...I didn't mention in my first reply that I saw the Beatles(Quarrymen) in Hamburg Germany in 1962 while I was in the U.S. Navy, then again in Liverpool in 1963 on our way to take President Kennedy's helicopters to Berlin when he gave his famous speech at the Berlin wall in the summer of 1963. What memories they are. I also just learned to play Nowhere Man, after all these years of listening to them. You help me more than you can know. Thank you again.

  • i owe u big time! :D

  • great :) 5*****
