right my old pc can't play hd ready vid´s but this 10 mb video (FULL HD) can be played by my old pc.

Weird, I needed to overclock my 901 to play this video (using eeeCTL to 2GHZ - SHE's "super performance" was not enough).
And btw. it's playing perfectly even on fullscreen on my connected 24" 1920x1200 LCD.

1st of all, a 2min video file around 100megs is no comparison to a real 1080p h264 file.
Try playing a 15 gig blu ray rip .mkv file and u'll c how much it will crash and burn :P

Looks like that video has been down-sampled, the one VIA used had much higher quality. Thats why your eee plays it instead of struggles with it.
