@sheshines4all Sasha Frere-Jones is a music critic who is on staff at the New Yorker. He's obviously not good at interviewing, but he knows music.

She is very genuine and very real. She's not trying to make tons of money or have a hit song. She's not worried about popularity. She writes her songs and gets her feelings out and she doesn't really ask for anything in return. She writes the songs for herself and her fans. I'm the same way, I write songs and I don't care who likes them or not. I like them and it's how I feel. Take it or leave it.

I love Fiona. It took me from 1997 until now to finally admit this. We are kindred spirits in songwriting and art...she has all my respect for making it as far as she did.
