correct me if i'm mistaken but doesn't JF-17 has no AESA radar nor are there any plans for it in the blk-2

while american aircrafts are obviously good, sanctions and the fact that unless you have a source code, u cant fire on other aircrafts rendering it useless in combat. Similarly, u cant trust the French or EU or sometimes Russia. That leaves just China. Politically and cost wise, Chinese aircraft for the win!

JF-17 is a result of a very modular and flexible project open to digest many changes in aircraft manufacturing. this jet cannot be compared to any fighter jet out there cuz frankly it doesn't resemble anyone as such. fighter jets designs are usually frozen before manufacturing starts but in jf-17s case, its airframe and avionics were kept separate cuz of which it was able to keep the design unfrozen. so what originally started as better-F7 resulted in a very formidable jet.
