There will always be a new version just over the horizon. When I buy techy doodads I make judgements based on what's available right now and what's been announced for the very near future. Of course there will be a new one two months! This is the 21st century! At least with the Linux OS there will always be new apps... maybe Ubuntu Mobile will even work on the n810.
