KOF Klub: King of Fighters 96 Anniversary Edition: Geese Howard Changes

Been so long sine KOF Klub had a vid. So I igured I'd throw it a nice juicy bone

EvilHomer from MUGEN Genesis hit me up with this entertaining hack of King of Fighters 96. A lot of KOF hacks are pretty mundane, such as merely making bosses available. Some are weird like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, a KOF 2001 hack and some are crap.

This one is not so crap. Its a hack of KOF 96 as I said and its pretty damn impressive. Let's see what we got

*Power bar now functions similar to later KOF games. You charge it up adn once the bar emtpies and refills as a green coloured bar you can use a special. At low health, charge the bar up by two level sand you get an SDM, OR you can activate Exceed mode which is essentially KOF 2002's MAX mode.
*All disabled supers are restored, and optimized to look proper.
*Certain characters now have EX forms with new movesets.
*Goenitz is now balanced. He also now has his three slash special from SvC Chaos
*98UM graphics are presetnt and accounted for.

In this case, we're gonna look at Geese's changes. Geese has had probably the most changes done to him.

*His Reppuken and Double Reppuken (Slash) have new palletes, as does shippuken
*Raising Storm is now the 98UM version
*Has Raimei Gouha Nage, with the SvC Chaos "Die! Forever!"
*Now has Deadly Rave, which is the autocombo type. Strangely it doesn't use the 98UM energy blast. I reckon they could have used it if they wanted

His EX form is a huge change. Being a direct port of 98UM's EX Geese, its to be expected

*Reppukens are now rranged
*Shippuken is now ranged.
*Has Double Shippuken
*Jaei Ken now has the fireball graphic around Geese's body and the strong version ends in a throw
*Raising Stomr is now the multi hit claw version
*He lacks Rashomon. Instead he has a new super where he throws you to the ground and hits you with Thunder Break. The SDM version has a large lightnign pillar in the throw and orange lightnings.

So as I said, Geese probably has the most changes done to him.

Also, at last, the Nightmare form has the RBS voice.

Except its not really his Ngihtmare form. There's no feet aura, you can't do a Quadruple Shippuken, Reppukens are slower etc.
