as a fashion designer from far away Croatia...yes..he´WAS an artist and he BECAME inovativ in a technological way...a much higher level..he can not be compared with any other...he´s a far away ahead and not so much in fashion..as a poore european (me) would say ... pure without any parameter...

  • I began to admire his talent when I bought a dress in 1993. Prescise and fine tailoring. It's not only a wearable. It's just a piece of art. He's just a rare genius.

  • i have loved miyake since the 80's I saw an exhibit of his at Otis Parsons in los angeles

  • is he a gay

  • i understood everything, even without subtitles.... jk
