That is a bad set up, it looks like a boomerang vac, keeps coming back at you.
With a canister vac, I would carry the canister with one hand, while vacuuming with the other hand. I have both a canister vac and the upright, and find I have to carry the canister with the other hand.

Its not my hoover I use all the time its one from my collection and yes the room is to small I was try show how the Hoover hovers on the floor looks bit like some thing from another planet the Hoover lol
