From Mike Judge, one of the creative minds who brought you Beavis and Butt-Head, King of the Hill and Office Space, comes an outrageous comedy that'll make you think twice about the future of mankind.

Meet Joe Bowers (Luke Wilson). He's not the sharpest tool in the shed. But when a goverment hibernation experiment goes awry, Bowers awakens in the year 2505 to find a society so dumbed-down by the mass commercialism and mindless TV programming that he's become the smartest guy on the planet. Now it's up to an average Joe to get human evolution back on track!

Filled with razor-sharp sarcasm and outrageous sight gags, Idiocracy will make you laugh out loud whether you're an absolute genius or a complete idiot! - DVD CASE. [Movie Review]. {Cinema Reviews}.

  • This has been said before, but I will repeat it.

At this rate, this movie will become a documentary before we know it

  • Yet one thing I hate the most about this movie is NO COMMENTARY!

  • Dude, the environment is supposed to look shitty as hell because no one knows how to maintain anything, did you notice the "roped together buildings"?

  • Anyone who takes this movie seriously is an idiot. I thought the movie was great, Mike Judge is a visionary who deserves way more credit for his work. I have read the comments here and I can agree with what people are saying, the truth hurts. The way Mike portrays corporations and people is spot on to where we are headed.

  • The only thing that keeps this movie from being a smash hit is that it hits too close to home. The truth hurts, even when couched as a comedy. This movie is much more of a prophesy for our times than a comedy. Even the reviewer kid in this clip misses the point entirely. The USA is on the fast track to Idiocracy and none dare call it by its name, so the movie got panned. Mike Judge is a modern-day prophet (brought to you by Carl Jr.).

  • Have you notice Herman Cain could be President Camacho if he wore the wig?

  • @Katakuna51 Educational system is a mess, way to many force prerequisite.

  • Hi, I'm Matthew, as well! lol

  • @MrCorporalTunnel Sara Rue has ALWAYS been bangable! IMO This movie looks very interesting. I'm going to get it from Netflix and check it out. Looks like something I'd enjoy. For a movie that came out 5 years ago though, I'm surprised I had NEVER heard of it until today. Bad marketing.
