The machines are two different sizes... that bobcat 250 is much heavier than that little asv, If you look closely, the ASV is a narrow machine, the bobcat doesn't go through the same ruts,(wider machine 72 or 74 in). Tracks closer together would improve your ground force. I've run ASV tracks on a cat machine, hands down very smooth track, like a Cadillac. bobcat tracks are very rough and bumpy. It's all preference, they all do the same thing and its what you like.
I've drove both of these machines and the ASV (posi track) it's a much better machine all round, for controls and movement. The bobcat may have come first but that's no excuse for being stuck in the past. I've put posi tracks in places bobcat drives wouldn't go.

asv/terex machines have a higher ground clearance so even if u put the tracks on something else you wont get the same results

as a rule with a track loader on soft ground stay off the same path. so drivers fault and could have used a bucket to get himself out of the rut
