This is the essential lessons to start anyone on sewing. I included some of my thoughts on how to control the machine like a car. Some of the paper patterns that you might remember from home economics, and of course all the other knowledge you may need to learn leading up to sewing from what to buy to how to hand sew are available in my playlist how to sew located on my channel page. While I truly hope this information helps some newcomers to sewing, I'm sure it will provide a nice refresher for any one just getting back into sewing. I want to urge you all to practice as much as possible to prefect your sewing work, learning anything takes will, supplies, direction, and practice most of all, believe me when your able to create that cute little something you will be quite proud and amazed with your accomplishments.

  • Good info, but why are you talking to us like we're 4 years old? That's pretty irritating.

  • @djtblizzle It's not a deliberate thing to insult views intelligence, so don't take it personal, this is a common question for how to amateur video

    A. talking in front of the camera while trying to convey the message properly is hard and the sewing it's self, and appeal to a wide variety of viewers.

and B. I'm actually trying to remember several steps that I usually don't think about in a certain order, So basically I'm not a spokes person and I'm multitasking things in my head.

  • Not sure I like her tone. She sounds like she's talking to Kindergarteners instead of adults.

  • Great video. Finally someone shows how to actually move fabric around and showing when to lift the needle and when not. Question: does anyone know if you have to keep the reverse button down? Mine automatically goes back up if I don't hold it down with one hand. Is that normal?

  • @scarlettohara66 You're getting a free sewing lesson out of it, so why complain. Why don't you make a tuition clip of your own and see if you can do any better?

  • Thank you so much I am getting all my friends to sew this year ... Keep making these videos!

  • Nice video, awesome work table!

  • @snakeplisskeen1 Sure you can if your determined but of course it matters what you want to do and how you go about it, working from home making crafts for boutiques, mending and alterations, even pattern making and selling online. Marketing is a key strategy and knowing your community helps.
