My sister volunteered for an organization, Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA), last year managing one of their villages set up to help in the recovery effort after hurricane Katrina hit Mississippi & Louisiana. She put this short video together from the pictures she took while down there. Its been almost four years now since Katrina hit and Walmart, McDonalds, and the casinos are up and running great, but their are still THOUSANDS without homes. I hope it inspires to you help out in anyway you can. We are currently organizing another volunteer group to go down an work in Mississippi the first week of May.
