410 Heavy Loads using Speer Shot Capsules. The 3" 410 shell is limited to 3/4 oz of shot. The shot capacity of the case can be increased using 44 caliber shot capsules when fired in a 45 caliber barrel. 1 oz loads can be created which compare closely with 20 ga and 12 ga rounds. A 45-410 firearm is required in a break-open action.

@vinosd773 I have never seen any rounds like this for sale. I thought of the idea when I was reloading shot shells for 44 Mag and 45 Colt, using the Speer Shot Capsules. The 44 caliber capsule will extend into a 45 barrel, which effectively extends the chamber of the gun. It will not work in a revolver. It will not work in a regular 410. It has to be a 45/410 gun. I have only tried it in a break open action.

It sure does, although it's not that bad. I used reloading data to arrive at a safe load, which could probably bumped up a little.
