GE ES44AC #5455, EMD SD70M #3822, and GE AC44CWCTE #5655 lead a long 160-car MNPRV manifest through Oroville, California on December 4, 2009 at 2:49 PM. This train is one of the longest MNPRV's I've seen since UP began rerouting them off of Donner Pass and onto the Feather River Canyon route. This was also the first MNPRV I've seen with 2 DPU's...mid-train. The DPU's include UP GEVO #5530 and SD70M #3794.

  • BATTERY PLACE

  • The battery place is around the corner, this is Ehmann Street next to the crossing at Mitchell. Remember when the thugs were walking towards us last time?

  • Oh yeah, that bridge there threw me off

  • That's the Lincoln Blvd bridge, the first of the three going east. The battery place is at the Huntoon Street bridge, the second one going east.

  • haha when is the MNPRV short?

  • Good point.

  • Nice! I remember seeing somewhere a UP official said no trains that usually run on the Donner Pass will be diverted to the FRC. Yet, here is the MNPRV, the same train I caught in Truckee at the end of October!

  • Great vid 5*s

  • wow, good business is picking up, maybe they will need some more train crews :) Good work!

  • Yeah, boy am I out of it

  • Ha, looks looks like one of my Valley Subdivision trains :)
