  • @skatoolaki But if this was a time that Christianity was in its most power, then why were its followers ignoring Bible-sanctioned fellowship and help for others? This was the fault of non-Christian forces? No, it was simply Christians being Christians - just like they are today. Saying the believe one thing and acting completely the opposite in their day-to-day lives. A "lack of Christian foundation" is NOT the problem.

  • Well he's certainly right that Christians weren't acting very "Christian-like" and wealth was not "used with compassion" or to help one's fellow man.
