The sequel to When is Enough, Enough? about the Alberta oil sands made for the CBC series The Nature of Things with David Suzuki. In "When is Enough, Enough?" the Mikisew Cree First Nation called for a moratorium on oil sands development until science could determine how much development the water and the environment can bear. The Mikisew's concerns were not heeded. Three years later, the price of a barrel of oil had more than doubled and it was full speed ahead for new oil sands projects. But by this time, the Mikisew found they were not alone and allies came from unusual places. Former Conservative Premier of Alberta Peter Lougheed was calling for a moratorium and former Reform Party leader Preston Manning was talking about 'Green conservatism'. The program features Alberta writer Andrew Nikiforuk and respected water scientist Dr. David Schindler and an interview with Preston Manning.
