A cold January day at the Tennessee river, Kingston TN USA. On the way there we actually got to see some snow. It was a really cold day the air temperature was like 7 degrees below freezing. The water though wasn't as cold which is why we managed to catch many fish. We landed 5 buffalos and 6 common carp. I couldn't film some of the action because of the cold wether, the camera kept shutting off because of the cold temperature. It was an enjoyable day even though we ware really cold. • I am just getting into carp fishing in nebraska, what type of line do you prefer 30lb braid? 20 lb mono?

  • Its up to you, try both and use which ever works best for you. I use mono; my main line is 12lb. It allows me to cast farther, and its strong enough for the fish I catch. But 20lb mono is not a bad choice.

  • ok. Did you fish fly or spinning? Spinning is more fun with tiny spoons spinners and wobblers.

  • I did both but more spinning and I also used a tiny wobbler.

  • My grandparent lived less than a mile from there. He tied his boat up off the little cove right beside the bridge. Many fond memories on Watt's Bar with the family. . We fished that very spot many time. Thanks for sharing.
