This is the scene from The English Patient (Anthony Minghella) where Count Laszlo de Almásy (Ralph Fiennes) states that the clavicle of his lover Katharine Clifton (Kristin Scott Thomas) is the sexiest part of her body, claiming its possession and naming it the Almásy's Bosphorus.

  • In this movie, everytime Ralph Fiennes meets up with Kriston Scott, he falls more and more in love with her.....but doesn't want to admit it to himself.......and in the end cannot deny it any longer. Beautifully acted...it's almost like Ralph is not acting at all.....like he truly means what he's saying.

  • Rule #36: Your favorite movie is ALWAYS The English Patient.

  • I seen this 5 times in the cinema, each time focusing on different aspect of the movie; Iam still in awe the talent of Ralph Fiennes and Kristin Scott and what they can reify from mere movie script ......and Ondaatje's brilliant novel ; a giddy swirl of flashbacks and recalls, intertwining two main plots (old and new) without losing momentum of each

  • I simply adore this film and this scene in particular....He, who despises ownership, wants to own this little body part.....amazing stuff...

  • Depressing and unpleasant film. Karma hurts.

  • No I see why Elaine Bennis HATES the English Patient.

  • homage un bosphorus,,,,,,,,think that means its the same shape as the bosphorus straits.hmmmmm

  • pst.
